Adfusion® Publisher Program Policies

A: Code Restrictions:

1. Publisher(s) can not alter or modify Click Thru content feeds outside of design changes in the Category Customization tool.
2. Publisher(s) Web site(s) must be approved prior to using any Adfusion scripting.
3. Publisher(s) can not alter, edit or manipulate Adfusion content feeds. Examples of restricted uses include: changing the order of articles displayed, inserting active hyperlinks, and defaming/omitting photos. Photo cannot be displayed unless the photo(s) accompany the specific article with which they are distributed.

B: Usage Restrictions:

1. Publisher(s) can not display Adfusion content feeds on non-content pages, including Registration pages, Error pages or Thank You pages.
2. Publisher(s) can not use Adfusion content feeds on sites featuring pornography or other adult-themed content; racist or hate-related material; or a site ARA Content finds objectionable.
3. Publisher(s) can not send users to pages other than advertisers via redirect or other means. Users must immediately connect with advertiser’s site when they click on an embedded link.
4. Pages where Adfusion content feeds are displayed may not contain harmful programming, including but not limited to: viruses, worms, time bombs and cancelbots.
5. Publisher(s) can not provide their Users with incentives and/or manipulate Users to read article(s) or to click on an advertiser’s links within articles from Adfusion content feeds.
6. Publisher(s) will not utilize Publisher’s relationship with Adfusion to solicit any advertiser featured within an Adfusion content feed.
7. All pages on Publisher(s) Web site(s) featuring Adfusion content feeds must be in English.
8. Publisher(s) can not engage in any action of practice that reflects poorly on ARA or otherwise disparages or devalues ARA’s reputation or goodwill.

C: Reporting/Accounting Restrictions:

1. Valid clicks may not include: hitbots, robots, spiders, scripts, hidden links, or other artificial means.
2. No clicks derived from SPAM e-mail.
3. Publisher(s) can not link a URL featuring Adfusion to a link exchange program for the purpose of boosting Click Thru.
4. Click Thrus generated from certain nations will not be permitted nor will any revenues be earned. Any click generated by an Internet user in the following countries will not be permitted nor will fee be paid: Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Andorra, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brunei, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, Chad, China, Comoros, Congo, Costa Rica, Cote d’Ivoire, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Djibouti, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Estonia, Ethiopia, French Guyana, French Polynesia, Gabon, Gambia, Georgia, Ghana, Gibraltar, Greece, Guatemala, Guernsey, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Guyana, Hong Kong, Hungry, India, Indonesia, Aceh, East Timor, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Italy, Ivory Coast (Cote d’ Ivoire), Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kiribati, Korea, South Kurdish, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Latvia, Lebanon, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Lithuania, Macao (China), Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mercosur, Mexico, Micronesia, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Myanmar, Burma, Nagorno-Karabakh, Namibia, Nauru, Nepal, The Netherlands, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Niue, North Korea, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Palau, Palestinian, Paraguay, Philippines, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Rwanda, Sahara, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia Montenegro, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Somalia, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Sweden, Syria Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tibet, Togo, Tonga, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu, Uganda, Ukraine, Untied Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Soviet Union, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, Vietnam, North Vietnam, South Western Sahara, Yemen, Yugoslavia, Zaire, Dominican Republic of Congo, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
5. ARA will not pay Publisher(s) for Click Thru if it does not receive payment from its Client.

1. Publisher(s) can communicate only with ARA Content – not through Adfusion advertisers.
2. ARAnet, Inc. owns all trademarks and patents related to Adfusion.
